The Perfect Hoop I Couldn’t Find
For months, my new helix piercing was irritated and inflamed. I tried different earrings, but nothing seemed to work. Traditional butterfly-back studs made it impossible to sleep comfortably, while flat-back studs didn't fit my ear well and seemed to put too much pressure on my piercing, leaving the hole enlarged and my ear swollen. Regular hoops were just too big and heavy for my helix.
But I loved my helix piercing and didn't want to give up on it. I just wanted an earring that looked good, felt comfortable, and was gentle on my new piercing.
So I decided to create one myself.
After several rounds of sampling and design refinements, the perfect mini hoop was born.
Cira Mini Hoop is designed to fit comfortably around the upper cartilage and earlobe. It's small and lightweight, with an extra-long post for a more comfortable fit. I wanted a hoop that felt snug without being bulky, and comfortable enough to wear throughout the day and night.
Cira is made from 925 sterling silver and finished with your choice of 18k gold plating or rhodium plating. The finish helps resist tarnishing, and the materials are chosen with sensitive ears in mind.
I created Cira Mini Hoop because I know how frustrating it can be to love your piercings but struggle to find the right jewelry for them. I hope Cira becomes the hoop you put on once and never want to take off, so you can enjoy the piercings you love without compromising on comfort or style.
